Thrust Angle
Camber is the inward or outward tilt of the wheel.
Caster is the forward or rearward tilt of the steering axis.
Individual Toe is the angle formed between the wheel and the Thrust Line of the vehicle. The term thrust line refers to the direction in which the rear wheels are pointed.
Total toe is the combined angle of Individual Toe.
Steer Ahead becomes equal when the Individual Toe on each tire is equal. This indicates which direction the vehicle is steered.
Thrust angle refers to the angle created between the centerline and the thrust line of the vehicle. The term thrust line refers to the direction in which the rear wheels are pointed.
CodeLink recalibrates the vehicle’s steering angle sensor (SAS) (as required by OEM) to match the final thrust angle of the vehicle. This ensures the vehicle’s electronic stability control (ESC) functions properly.
